It started with giving.

We gave Bran a quilt; Bran gave us fabric to make more to donate. We gave him hand-sewn beanies; he shared his love of art and generous spirit with us in a dye class. An artist, a giver, & a lover of tie dye, he wore the beanies constantly, liking their softness & color. Since Bran’s passing, we’ve decided to continue his legacy of giving & art, and the Bran Beanie was officially born. The beanies are bright, colorful and beautiful, just like Bran. They bring joy and comfort to other kids like him, and remind us of the healing power of art. (Click here for the whole story from owner, Alex.)

Join us April 2nd & 16th for the second annual Bran Beanie Event: Pay to Play & Give it Away! This year, our goal is to create 400 ultra-soft, hand-sewn beanies over two days: 100 beanies each to four exceptional organizations that meant a lot to Bran.

The participant fee will cover the cost to buy the ultra soft stretchy fabric and pay the local seamstresses to sew the hats. Choose to come to one session, or both! Beverages and snacks are included, and each participant will take home a limited edition print of Bran’s original marble paintings, with a matching dyed tote bag. Come get messy and give back with us!

Can’t make it? You can still participate. Sponsor a spot from afar and we will send you a thank you!
